Egg White Smoothie
Egg whites are a great to help maintain a healthy, balanced diet as has high satiety value, keeping you fuller for longer. Naturally high in protein and no yolk means 0% fat and 70% fewer calories than whole eggs. Save the yolks to make cured yolks. Just separate them from the whites and place them gently on a salty cure. Make the cure from a mixture of Cornish Sea Salt and Seaweed flakes. Then leave all six eggs in the fridge to cure for 1 ½ hours. Then remove from the fridge and cover the top of the yolks with a little of the seaweed salt again and return to the fridge for another 1 ½ hours.
- Prep time:5 mins
- Start by beating your egg whites until light and frothy.
- Peel your ginger and turmeric and then grate finely.
- Add all ingredients into a food blender and blitz until smooth and bubbly
- You can add ice at this stage if you like your smoothies extra cold or use a frozen banana
