St Ewe Free Range Eggs Announces Strategic Health And Nutrition Focused partnership With English and European Rugby Champions, The Exeter Chiefs.
We are absolutely delighted to announce an exciting two-year partnership with rugby champions the Exeter Chiefs, who are fresh from their Gallagher Premiership and European Heineken Champions cup victories.
We will be fuelling the squad with our highly nutritious Super Eggs and becoming the club’s official supplier of free-range eggs.
Lisa Duncan, Sales and Marketing Director for the Exeter Chiefs, said: “We are delighted to welcome St Ewe Eggs as one of our key club partners for the new season. Building on last season’s double-winning success, it’s fantastic that a leading Westcountry-based company is now wanting to align themselves with the Chiefs.
“Having St Ewe Eggs emblazoned on our match jerseys not only enhances our own brand, but equally we are helping to promote them on a truly global stage. We look forward to a hugely successful partnership.”
Both hailing from the South West, this partnership will see two iconic and culturally strong brands join together to educate on the importance of eating a healthy balanced diet and the vitally important role nutrition plays in optimising health and wellbeing.
Exeter Chiefs, England and British Lions winger, Jack Nowell, who will be sponsored by St Ewe, remarks: “As a proud Cornishman, I’m aware of the support we receive from businesses around the region. In what are currently difficult times for everyone, having a company like St Ewe Eggs pledge their support and backing to the club is a huge boost to us.
“Having that local link between the club and a business like this is a ‘win-win’ for all of us and I look forward to helping promote the success of St Ewe Eggs moving forward.”
It is well-known that eggs have an extensive range of benefits; high nutritional value, versatility and value for money. Super Eggs are the next generation in egg nutrition and our free-roaming hens are fed a scientifically developed ‘Super Feed’, containing high levels of natural selenium (Se), vitamin D and DHA Omega-3; which are fantastic for their health, as well as our own.
Due to a family history of pancreatitis, Super Eggs were initially developed following research on the antioxidant properties linking selenium intake and the protection of the cells. The arrival of Covid-19 prompted further research into the eggs’ health benefits for a wider demographic and the results were remarkable.
Bex comments: “We feel incredibly humbled and honored to share in the Chiefs’ extraordinary success and to work together to help spread the word about the importance of nutrition for health and wellbeing, especially during the current climate when we are all looking at ways to improve our health and support our immune systems. ”
The Chiefs kick off the new season tonight against London based Harlequins and the new St Ewe adorned kit will make its debut appearance.
