Our very own CEO Bex Tonks and Head of Marketing Nikki Owen, joined a number of fellow leading Southwest brands for a socially-distanced afternoon at Sandy Park, which included a photo-call with Director of Rugby Rob Baxter and first team players Josh Hodge, Joe Simmonds and club captain, Jack Yeandle.
St Ewe have recently signed a two-year sponsorship with the club, in the hope that the brand alignment will ensure that St Ewe gains maximum exposure from the partnership, with key messaging about the importance of nutrition for optimising health and well-being heard far and wide.
St Ewe will be fuelling the squad with our highly nutritious Super Eggs™and becoming the club’s official supplier of free-range eggs, working closely with the club’s top chefs and helping to keep the Chiefs nourished from the inside out!
Exeter Chiefs completed a historic double win last season, lifting not only the Gallagher Premiership title for the second time in the club’s history, but also picking up a first-ever Heineken Champions Cup crown, all under the leadership of Rob Baxter. It capped a truly remarkable season for the Devon based club, who only ten years ago were still playing in English rugby’s second tier of competition.
Supporting the Chiefs in their quest to remain one of the leading club sides in world rugby is paramount and we feel incredibly proud to align ourselves with such an iconic and culturally strong Southwest brand, by showing support through sponsorship.
Lisa Duncan, Sales & Marketing Director for the Exeter Chiefs, said: “Following on from the club’s success of last season, we are delighted that so many of the region’s top businesses are showing their support for the Exeter Chiefs.
“It is fantastic that so many of our long-term sponsors and partners are continuing to align with us, particularly given the challenging circumstances we all find ourselves dealing with, due to the Covid-19 outbreak. And, at the same time, we are delighted that we have new additions to the Chiefs family with four new sponsors coming on board for the new 2020/21 season.
“We thank all of the companies for the part they have played – and continue to play – and we look forward to a highly successful partnership moving forward.”
St Ewe have also sponsored Cornish born Exeter Chiefs and England winger Jack Nowell, who is currently recovering from a foot operation, and we very much look forward to working with him throughout the season on a number of egg-citing ideas!
