The highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 is continuing its spread across the UK, with several new cases confirmed only this week.
Anybody keeping birds (whether pet birds or commercial flocks) MUST keep a close eye on them for any signs of disease, whilst maintaining good biosecurity at all times.
During this time we urge keepers to house your birds safely in order to protect them, other flocks and businesses across the country. We cannot stress the importance of this enough.
We have put together a couple of informative posters for ease of reference and if you have any concerns about the health of your birds, please seek prompt advice from your vet.
