St Ewe Free Range Eggs awarded Best Farm Processor The Addington Fund Cornwall Farm Business Awards was held on Thursday 29th September, set against the iconic Cornish backdrop of the biomes at The Eden Project, was a spectacular evening where all came together to celebrate the best of Cornish agriculture.
The black-tie event welcomed guests from across the industry with BBC Radio Cornwall presenter Daphne Skinnard compère for the evening. Addington Fund CEO, Bill Young welcomed guests with a speech highlighting the current challenges for the sector, how the charity is helping those in need and reminded guests of the importance of the work of the Fund.
Cornish Mutual were the principal sponsors of the Awards, and their Managing Director Peter Beaumont recognised the achievements of each of the nominees, before announcing the winner in each category. The awards are an extraordinary celebration of British farming, and we were absolutely honoured to have been awarded Best Farm Processor which was sponsored by Savills.
