We’re eggcited to announce our sponsorship of the National Chef of the Year 2025 competition, a prestigious title that has launched the careers of some of the biggest names in the culinary world, including Gordon Ramsay, David Everitt-Matthias, and 2024 champion Orry Shand. This year’s competition, in partnership with the Craft Guild of Chefs, promises to be another exciting opportunity for talented chefs to make their mark.
The competition’s theme for 2025 is ‘Classic Meets Contemporary’, challenging chefs to create a three-course menu that reflects the best of both worlds. Chefs will have three hours to prepare their dishes, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, and seasonal awareness. From a classic lobster starter with a twist, to a beef main course using two cuts, and a show-stopping Valrhona chocolate tart or tartlet for dessert—every dish must be a true reflection of their culinary artistry.

How to Enter:

- After blind judging, 40 semi-finalists will be selected for an online stage, leading up to the final cook-off in October.
