We may not be able to celebrate St Patrick's Day with the usual craic at the pub this year, so why not bring the pub to you! You just can't beat a pint of Guinness and a pickled egg in our books! This recipe from Chef Guy Owen is just the ticket!
  • Serves: 6



  1. Place all the ingredients in a pan apart from the eggs, bring to the boil for 2 minutes
  2. Take off the heat and allow to cool to room temperature
  3. In the meantime hardboil your eggs for around 9 1/2 minutes. Once cooked run under cold water and shell these.
  4. Place eggs into sterilised jars and pour the pickling liquor over the eggs making sure they are completely submerged.
  5. Seal and leave to pickle for around 3 months in a cool environment.
