St. Ewe Free Range Eggs have been awarded 1 star at the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards 2022 for both our ‘Stunning deep marigold yellow’ Rich Yolk eggs and ‘Rich, light and fresh’ Super Eggs.
At St. Ewe Free Range Eggs, we pride ourselves on our high welfare, high-quality eggs, so achieving these awards means an incredible amount to us and we couldn’t be happier.

St. Ewe Free Range Rich Yolk Eggs
“Wonderful deep orange yolk, exceptional in its colour. Very nice egg, with good character – would make a great ingredient, giving a rich colour and flavour to any dish.
Stunning deep marigold yellow yolks to these eggs with a firm and vibrant white. This has all classic characteristics of a quality free range egg – there is a clean pure creaminess to the yolk – these eggs are obviously from happy hens to give a clean great tasting egg, pure simple and delicious.”

“Beautifully vibrant yolk to these eggs, clearly happy chickens! There is a lovely natural flavour, a real grassiness coming through. Rich, light and fresh. Delicious! Clever chickens!
Very clean egg white and a lovely deep saffron sunflower orange in the yolk. Good sulphuric aroma full of promise and a sheen on the yolk that almost requires shades. The texture is firm but soft at the same time, and the flavour is perfectly eggy and rich, and gives a silken mouthfeel. Very tasty egg indeed.”
